CHAIR'S MESSAGE

We work within the guidelines of Fibromyalgia Association UK, a registered charity, and benefit from their support and information regarding research into Fibromyalgia Syndrome. 

Belonging to a group such as ours has its advantages especially when sharing a similar condition.  We have many members who come to the meetings on a regular basis, and also some who simply prefer to receive a regular newsletter so that they can keep up with the activities of the group without actually taking part. 

Our Support Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month at the Alveston Methodist Church Hall from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.  Refreshments and a raffle are included in the £1.50 entrance fee and we have a different topic to discuss or share with other ‘fibro friends’ each month.  On many occasions we have been able to invite a speaker along, and we have been treated to some very varied and interesting subjects.  The Church Hall has a suitable access for those of us who have difficulty with steps and has free car parking.
